Wolf River
The world famous Wolf River flows through numerous towns, villages and
settlements as it makes its way towards its final end near Winneconne.
There it joins with the Fox River to feed and provide a nursery for the
Lake Winnebago system. But, it is more then just the fishing that is
noteworthy here. There are growing vibrant communities that continue to
provide food, shelter, art and entertainment to all of those who live
near or visit. For more information about the Wolf River visit the
Wolf
River Country Web site.
Wolf River Trips
Take
a canoe or inner tube down the rivers and swim at the clean sandy river
beach. Test skills at the over 25 games in
the recreation hall or gather your friends for a game of water
volleyball. In the fall, enjoy the color with a stroll through the woods
or a canoe trip down the river.
The
clear water, gentle rapids, and breathtaking scenery of the Little Wolf
River make tubing a fun and relaxing recreational activity for all ages.
Trips start at the campground, where a shuttle bus takes you to the
put-in point on the beautiful Little Wolf River. From there, the river
takes you through rocks, rapids and quiet drifting areas. Along the way,
stop for a swim at one of the smooth sandy spots or stay in your tube
and relax. Allow the river to take you on a leisurely trip back to your
campsite and the campground area. For more information visit the
